Jeff is a seasoned trial lawyer who has tried a variety of cases to verdict in State and Federal Courts throughout
Texas. He routinely handles complex lawsuits for the automotive industry involving airbags, seat belts,
roof/vehicle structures, handling and stability, fuel-fed and electrical fires, seats and seat backs and general
crashworthiness. He has also defended manufacturers of ATV’s motorcycles, personal watercraft, marine
products, consumer products and industrial equipment for 25 years.
In addition to product litigation, Jeff’s commercial litigation experience includes representing
a software company in a fraud and breach of contract case in Dallas, resulting in a favorable
jury verdict awarding actual and punitive damages to PHMY’s client, i2 Technologies, Inc.
Jeff, along with attorneys from the Los Angeles office of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliff, successfully defended
DHL Worldwide Express, Inc. and Airborne Express, Inc. in a complex commercial case involving allegations
of breach of contract, fraud, negligent misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty and tortuous interference
with business relations. After a trial lasting almost 3 months, a San Antonio jury rejected virtually all of the
Plaintiffs' claim and awarded only about 1% of the damages sought by the Plaintiffs.
