The recent economic downturn forced law firms across the country to re-evaluate the way they bill their clients. As a result, "alternative billing" has become a hot topic in legal circles. At PHMY, we have been partnering with our clients to creatively structure alternative billing arrangements since 1995. Alternative billing can be anything from flat fee cases, contingency fee defense work, or other hybrid fee arrangements. In fact, a majority of the firm's revenue comes from clients with whom we have alternative fee arrangements. We never want our clients to experience buyer's remorse. We never want them to wonder if the successes we achieve are worth the cost. We completely understand that the value of even the best legal advice can be diminished it it is not timely and cost-effective. PHMY welcomes non-traditiional billing arrangements.
